LongFin Green Cory Catfish

The Green Cory Longfin is one of the newer varieties of Corydoras species. They show their best behavior while shoaling in groups of 2 or more fish. The Green Cory Longfin is extremely peaceful making it a great addition to any community tank and even most shrimp tanks. They reach a max size of around 3.5 inches counting the tail.  Care is needed to keep their water clean as their longfins are a bit more likely to get fin rot.  Usually, a good water change will clear up early stage fin rot.

Corydoras species prefer a sand substrate as they enjoy scavenging for food. It is also less abrasive to their barbels making sand the best long-term substrate solution for the Corydoras family. 

We feed our Green Cory Longfin a large variety of foods which include finely ground Northfin flake foods, small Northfin pellets (veggie, community, & bug pro), frozen foods, and occasionally blackworms.The scientific name is Corydoras aeneus
